The Big House is the largest football stadium in North America, and the third largest in the world. Since it was built in 1927, it has been expanded seven times, growing its capacity from 72,000 to 107,601. Michigan has held events over that official capacity, though, setting a record in 2013 when they packed 115,000 strong in for a game against Notre Dame.
